Interleague Play
Starting in 2012, HSLL teams will be playing a series of games against Red Land Little League at the Majors (AAAA) level. We are looking forward to playing these travel games and growing this new relationship for years to come.

AAAA Rules/Information
1. All Little League Baseball Rules will be followed
2. The “un-caught” third strike (Rule 6.05) in the Baseball Rule Book has been amended to read:
A batter is OUT when; 1. A third strike is legally caught by the catcher or 2. A third strike is not caught when first base is occupied and there are less than 2 out.
3. Umpire Availability (AAAA):
If an umpire does not show for a game, the HOME team is responsible to find a league recognized volunteer to umpire. If a league recognized volunteer is not available, both teams manager/coaches will umpire when their teams are on defense. A game will be rescheduled if only one coach/manager (per team) is available. Each association must provide adult size mask, chest protector, shin guards, indicator, and brush for every field.
There will be two (2) certified umpires at all AAAA games.
4. Mercy Rule (Rule 4.10 (e):
If after four (4) innings (or three and one-half innings if the home team is ahead) one team has a lead of ten (10) runs or more, the manager of the team with the least runs shall concede the victory to the opponent. There shall be no exceptions to this rule.
